3528426 - "Null object loaded from local variable 'mappingClass'" Error after the Camel 3.x Upgrade

Symptom

On October 12th and 13th, 2024, a subset of Cloud Integration customers may have experienced the following issues after the tenants wear migrated to Apache Camel 3.14.x

  • Integration Flows are deployed by SAP after Upgrade. KBA: KB0816314
  • Integration Flows containing Message Mapping failed with error
    java.lang.NullPointerException: while trying to invoke the method java.lang.Class.newInstance() of a null object loaded from local variable 'mappingClass'
