3528537 - Unable to calculate depreciation in assets for one account principle only (FY/period is closed for all other account principles)

Symptom

  • In ABZOL to post APC to a new asset created; while the system is triggering a recalculation during the 'Create New Asset' process, error Message no. AU393 "Years for areas closed differently; Deprec. calculation not possible-" is raised.
  • For the posting the fiscal year was reopened for the one and relevant depreciation area, which is assigned to an account principle.
