3528538 - Lock and Block functions not extended to subsequent elements

'Lock' (related to the Processing Status) and 'Block functions' (related to restrict Time recording, Purchasing etc) features are only applied to the WBS Element/Project element in which they are maintained.

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

1. Open app 'Project Control - Enterprise Projects' and search for a project;
2. Click on Related apps > Project planning;
3. Select the project and/or a WBS Element;
4. Click on Processing status > Lock;
5. Notice that the status will only be applied to the selected element, instead of being extended to the subsequent elements.
   • The same can be noticed for the 'Block functions' feature, which can only be set individually for each WBS Element.

Both the 'Lock' Processing Status and the 'Block functions' feature are valid specifically for the project element in which they are maintained.

The expected behavior is that only the selected WBS Element/Project element become locked after changing its processing status. The same goes to Blocking functions of WBS Elements.

The 'Lock' Processing Status can be extended to the underlying WBS Elements by using app 'Mass Change to Projects'.

The Blocked functions, however, must be set individually for each WBS Element.
