3528542 - Error Invalid Web URL In Hypernotes

When user tries to insert an image in Notes using Web Address, following error occurs  "Invalid Web URL".

SAP Sales Cloud and SAP Service Cloud Version 2

This scenario is applicable for any entity that uses Notes.

Below are the steps to reproduce issue in Case entity:

1. From the Navigation Menu, go to Cases.
2. Open a Case in detail view.
3. Under General Tab, go to Notes Section and create a new note.
4. In the editor, click on 'Insert Image' button.
5. In the pop-up, enter the Image URL in the Web Address field and enter the Height and Width for the image to be displayed.
6. Click on Insert.

Notice that error occurs - "Invalid Web URL".

1. Incorrect URL added.
2. URL is blocked based on the settings maintained in Content Security Policy (CSP).

1. Ensure that a valid Image URL and not an application URL is added in the Web Address field.
2. Ensure to add the Image URL domain to the CSP settings by following the below steps:
   1. Go to Settings.
   2. Search for "Content Security Policy".
   3. Under Image Source section, add the domain using the following format *.xxxxxx.com
