3528602 - MDF Decimal field saved as blank when decimal max number is overpassed

MDF Custom field with type "Decimal" is saved blank when decimal max number is overpassed 

1. Access user profile; 

2. Go to the MDF custom portlet;

3. Add a new record;

4. Fill the field type "Decimal" with more than the predefined maximum decimal places;

5. The message "The precision of the Target % filed exceeds the maximum of characters" will show and the number will be adjusted to show only the decimal places allowed;  

6. Click on "Save";   

7. The message "Your changes were successfully saved." but the field is blank. 

This is a known behavior and our engineering team is already working to improve the system's functionality.

It is scheduled to be fixed in the first release of 2025.
