3528607 - Automatic creation of credit segment with scope item 1QM

Symptom

After assigning the business role SAP Credit Management to business partners, credit segment has not been created automatically.

As the amount of business partners is huge, manual creation of each business partner is not possible.

Environment

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition.

Reproducing the Issue

1. Go to app Schedule Credit Management Jobs.

2. Create job template "Assign Credit Management Role to Business Partners".

3. Go to app Manage Credit Account and search for the business partner maintained above.

4. Credit segment section shows "No item is available".

Cause

The job template "Assign Credit Management Role to Business Partners" is designed to automatically generate credit profiles for business partners. If the automatic creation of credit segments is required, the job template "Update Credit Limit for Business Partners" must be used.

Please note that the job template "Update Credit Limit for Business Partners" is only accessible once scope item 1QM has been activated.

Resolution

1. Go to app Schedule Credit Management Jobs.

2. Create job template "Update Credit Limit for Business Partners".

3. In step 3, maintain the business partner and credit segment fields as needed, and then select on "Recreate Credit Segment" and "Update Run".

4. Click on "Schedule", then the credit segment is created for the business partners.
