3528642 - Custom table being showed in setup for users that doesn't have the access

Symptom

Custom tables being showed to users even if their permission group doesn't contain this custom table set to be available in Access Rights.

Environment

SAP SALES CLOUD CPQ

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Open CPQ setup with an user with access rights visibility for certain custom tables
  2. Go to custom table sections
  3. Check the visible custom tables.

Cause

Database inconsistency.

Resolution

  • Issue can be resolved following below steps:
    1. Navigate to "custom tables" section in Setup Sections (second column of the page)
    2. Deselect all custom tables (third column of the page) checkbox and then manually remove the tables which appear in the list
    3. Click on save and then remove "custom tables" section from Setup Sections (second column) and click on save again
    4. Select Custom Table setup section and add all custom tables which need to be visible.
  • If above alternative doesn't work, contact SAP CPQ Support team so issue can be corrected directly in database.
