3528683 - Missing sales orders/market segment characteristics for revenue recognition postings after CE2408 upgrade

Symptom

After CE2408 upgrade, market segment characteristics are missing for Event Based Revenue Recognition(EBRR) postings.
For example: Sales order/Sales order item/Customer/Sales Organization/Distribution Channel/Division/Product Sold/Product Sold Group/Country/Region of Customer or Supplier/Ship-to Party.

Environment

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Cause

When determining market segment characteristics, a sales document must be used. When there are multiple relevant sales documents, a unique sales document cannot be determined(for example: debit memo request or credit memo request additionally exist).

Resolution

The correction has been delivered with Hotfix Collection SAP S/4HANA CLOUD 2408, SPS 06 on October 5th to 6th, 2024.

Kindly remember to correct the inconsistent data by using Profitability Analysis realignment as described in attached Word document DataCorrection.doc.
Please test data correction first in the quality system before applying it to production.
