3528931 - DevStudio 'To Identity Store' pass fails to modify data in the database with MSKEYVALUE from SQL statement but works with constant

Symptom

  • Job with pass 'To Identity Store' fails with the following error:
    • putNextEntry failed storing Exception from Modify operation:com.sap.idm.ic.ToPassException: ToIDStore.deleteAttributeValues(0) failed to delete the values of the attribute "MSKEYVALUE".IDStore returned the following error message: "!ERROR: Entry does not exist:Attribute: MSKEYVALUE".
  • The pass uses an SQL statement to identify an MSKEYVALUE to use to modify data in the database.
  • The Database Source "Identity Store - Self" is selected in the source tab of the pass.
  • The system is able to read the value, but the modify step fails.
