3528939 - Activation of Full People Profile - Job Failed -SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central 2H2024

• Unable to activate the new full profile in SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central.
• An error message is encountered: "Failed to add custom categories to the latest People Profile. Detailed message: Tenant Configuration Error: An unexpected error occurred: Internal error".

SAP SuccessFactors Employee Profile 2411 (2H2024)

1. Reproducing the Issue

   1. Go to Company System and Logo Settings
   2. Switch on option Enable Full Profile for the latest People Profile
   3. Run the job Migrate legacy People Profile configurations to the latest People Profile.
   4. An error appears for the job: "Failed to add custom categories to the latest People Profile. Detailed message: Tenant Configuration Error: An unexpected error occurred: Internal error".

Our engineering team is currently investigating the cause on the highest priority 

Workaround: Please check your configuration in Configure people profile. if any block description for configured block is more than 4000 maxlength. Please reduce it to max 4000 characters.
