3529033 - Multiple Errors when updating workflow - 'Rehire with new employment' user

• When updating a workflow system prompts multiple errors:
  • This Person ID already exists. Please enter a new unique value
  • The User Id XXX already exists. Please enter a new unique value
  • The User Name already exists. Please enter a new unique value
    
• Only happens in the RCM/ONB1 rehire CWK trigger workflow

SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central

1. Open an pending workflow
2. Click to update
3. On the MPH page multiple error will appear:
   • This Person ID already exists. Please enter a new unique value
   • The User Id XXX already exists. Please enter a new unique value
   • The User Name already exists. Please enter a new unique value
     

The person id and user id validation is being done by mistake. 

The resolution for this issue has already been fixed by our development team and will be delivered by the release 2505.2 (2412) and can be found in ECT-243892.

Workaround:

    1. For RCM rehire a contingent worker as regular employee, if trigger workflow, please don't update the workflow, approve it and then update from the employee profile page. Or cancel the workflow and let the initiator recreate a workflow with correct data.
