3529454 - Missing URL in the Email Template or How to add new field or attachment in Email notification

• The email template for the Purchase Order (PO) workflow deadline lacks a URL.
• The email template for the Supplier Invoice has a URL to directly access the Invoice, but the PO template does not.
• The email template for the Purchase requisition has a URL to directly access the PR task, but many other documents does not have the variable Workflow: Workflow Task URL in the respective email templates.

The absence of a URL or attachments or new field or custom field in the PO deadline email template(or any other email template) is due to the lack of Variable in the pre-delivered template's data source.

So if a desired variable is not available in the template, it is considered a new requirement and therefore a new feature request.

1.To check what all variables can be added to template follow below steps:

1. Open the APP "Maintain email template"
2. Select and open respective pre delivered template 
3. Click on the Data source link
4. List of all available variables that can be added to templates will be visible

3.Variable "Workflow: Workflow Task URL "is added In Data source of only few objects currently  like SIV and PR

4.For all other documents kindly follow the work around to add the URL of the My Inbox in the template.
