• Can custom account groups be associated with alternative chart of accounts?
• Can pre-delivered account groups be associated with custom alternative chart of accounts?

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

The custom account groups can only be associated with operating chart of accounts(YCOA), they cannot be associated with alternative chart of accounts. Custom account groups do not have technical relevance to alternative charts of accounts.

The pre-delivered alternative chart of accounts are by default associated with the pre-delivered account groups.

The custom alternative chart of accounts can only be associated with the account group DFLT(Default).
