3529664 - Delete Button is Disabled for Business Role

You are trying to delete a business role after setting it as obsolete, however the delete button is disabled.

In SAP Business ByDesign:

1. Open the Application and User Management work center.
2. Enter the Business Roles view.
3. Search and select the desired business role.
4. You can see that the Delete button is disabled, even though the role is marked as obsolete.

In SAP Business ByDesign:

1. Open the Administrator work center.
2. Enter the General Settings view.
3. Click on Business Roles.
4. Search and select the desired business role.
5. You can see that the Delete button is disabled, even though the role is marked as obsolete.

Even though the business role is marked as obsolete, there are still business users assigned to the business role.

This prevents the deletion of the business role.

In order to enable the Delete button, please unassign the business role from all users who are currently assigned to it.

In order to check the users currently assigned to the business role, you can follow the below steps:

1. Open the Administrator work center.
2. Enter the General Settings view.
3. Click on Business Roles.
4. Search and select the desired business role.
5. Click on the business role ID to open it.
6. Click on the View All button.
7. Navigate to the Assigned Business Users tab.

Here you can see the list of users who are currently assigned to the role.
