3530131 - Understanding status management in Handling Unit (LO-HU)

• Handling Units (HU) are objects in an SAP System. 
• HUs have status' throughout their lifetime in a system. 
• Some errors can occur if there is an inconsistency with the status' of the HU.
• This KBA explains some of the basics around HU status's (ERP only)
• "HU Unique ID" OR "Lean HU Status Update"  is set on your client. (If neither are set then there is no system status maintenance for HUs)
• Inconsistencies with HU status' often raise errors such as BS001.
