3530254 - ContactEmail has asterisk even it is not mandatory and is skippable in Create an account page - Recruiting Management

The email address field is shown with asterisk in the Candidate account creation page, when “Use email as external applicant user ID” option is disabled in provisioning.

Also, though there is an asterisk symbol for this email field, it allows to skip this field without any value in it

Observe that there is an email address field which is shown as mandatory with an asterisk symbol,

Also, though there is an asterisk symbol for this email field, it allows to skip this field, when there is no value in it.

however as shown in the image from this KBA:2666892 - Use Email as External Applicant userId - Recruiting Management - SAP for Me  It should not have an asterisk symbol.

Engineering Team has planned to fix and release as part of 2505 release, from 2505 release ContactEmail  is always mandatory and cannot be null/skipped by the candidate when creating an account
