3530267 - 'Generic SELECT COUNT on free table selection' fails with a short dump 'SAPSQL_PARSE_ERROR'

Symptom

Executing 'Generic SELECT COUNT on free table selection' via TABLE_ANALYSIS in ST13 was failed a dump 'SAPSQL_PARSE_ERROR'.

From the dump, below information would be found.

  • 'Error analysis' section:

    "If the new Open SQL syntax is used, it must be used throughout. This includes
     using @ to escape host variables."

  • 'Information on where terminated' section:

    The termination occurred in ABAP program or include "/SSA/CAG", in
     "ANALYSIS_TABLE_COUNTER". The
    main program was "/SSA/CAG".
