3530520 - Error message "Could not execute search" displayed at Backoffice Simple Search

Symptom

When searching the products in product cockpit in Backoffice using simple search and entering some number of product codes in the search bar with a space between (Code1 Code2 Code3 .... Code15. Where Code1 Code2 etc. are valid product codes) and clicking on the search button, there are no results fetched and the error "Could not execute search" is displayed.

Additionally, during this unsuccessful search attempt, a log of the following type is visible in OpenSearch:

Error from server at XYZ: Expected mime type in [application/octet-stream, application/vnd.apache.solr.javabin] but got text/html.
Bad Message 431

reason: Request Header Fields Too Large

However, when the number of codes in the search is reduced, the results are displayed correctly.

Example:

When entering this, no results are retrieved and an error is seen:

66492 66493 66494 66495 66496 66497 66498 66499 66500 66507 66508 66511 66512 66513 66515

When reducing codes number like this, the search works:

66492 66493 66494 66495 66496 66497 66498 66499
