3530635 - Unable to access AI Services Administration permission - Premium AI features

Symptom

  • The "Administrator -> Manage AI Capabilities -> AI Services Administration" permission is not available in the SuccessFactors instance.
  • Unable to access "AI Services Administration".

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors HCM Suite

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to Manage Permission Roles
  2. Select a Role to edit
  3. Go to Add Permission section 
  4. Looks for Manage AI Capabilities
    • Notice AI Services Administration is not there

Cause

The AI Services Administration capability is only available for customers who have purchased the SAP AI Unit SKU 8018592.

Resolution

AI Unit of  Premium AI :

8018592 is the AI Unit consumption SKU which was the AI Unit introduced for ability for customers to track AI Units & AI Unit Consumption (e.g AI Usage in general) through the AI Usage Reporting dashboard in SAP for Me.

8019164 is the new Per-user, Per-month (PUPM) AI SKU associated with the SuccessFactors HCM Premium PUPM Package.

1.Confirm the purchase of SAP AI Unit SKU 8018592 or SAP AI Unit SKU 8019164,

2. Once you've purchased the SAP AI Units, the options below will be available to be enabled in your Provisioning side:

  • Enable AI-Assisted SAP SuccessFactors HCM Content Generator (You must purchase the SAP Al Units license in order to use this feature. Please contact your Account Executive to know more about the purchasing process.)
  • Enable AI-Assisted SAP SuccessFactors HCM Skills (You must purchase the SAP Al Units license in order to use this feature. Please contact your Account Executive to know more about the purchasing process.)

Notes: If the options above are unchecked in Provisioning, the purchase of SAP AI Units has not been successfully completed. Please check with your Account Executive. 

If the SKU has been purchased and the issue persists, engage with SAP SuccessFactors HCM Product Support team under component LOD-SF-PLT-GAI.
