3530721 - Proposed Product List Is Showing The Blocked Product On The Product List

When opening the Product List work center and opening the Product List "ABC", some products are appearing on the list under Proposed Products and one of these products is blocked, but is still appearing on the list.

The product needs to be manually removed from the Products list.

SAP Cloud for Customer

1. Go to Products work center.
2. Open the Product Lists work center view.
3. Open product list "ABC".
4. You can see the Product list has 4 Product under Proposed Products.
5. However, the product "123" is blocked, but is still appearing on the list.

The product list under "Products > Product List" work center is master data maintenance.

This is the standard behavior of the system.

The blocking of a product can have various reasons.

The system will not remove a product automatically from a product list just because it's blocked.
For example, if it's unblocked afterwards?

Imagine a case where a product becomes invariable for a certain period of time and is therefore blocked.
The product would have been removed from the list, but for sure it would not re-appear automatically in any list if it's set back to active after becoming available again.

Due to this, the products have to be removed manually from the product lists which can also be done for all lists at once using the Product Administration > Product List > More... > Remove Product.
