Symptom

  • There are transactional lock waits on your system and you would like to identify if application or SAP HANA Database is responsible 

  • You see the below error message in ST22 Dumps or in HANA trace files and you would like to analyse the root cause of the lock waits:

    SQL error 131: transaction rolled back by lock wait timeout: Lock timeout occurs while waiting OBJECT_LOCK of mode EXCLUSIVE
