After creating a multidimensional application (MDA) with Manage KPIs and Reports application, the commenting functionality is not available.

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition
Resolution
The pre-requirement for comment: document store should be enabled for the query.
Currently, commenting is not supported for the document store of custom query.
Commenting is only supported for a query with document store enabled.
