Symptom
- In the creation of a data flow from a Microsoft Azure SQL Database view or remote table, columns containing boolean data are not visible.
- Only non-boolean columns are displayed in the data flow.
- This issue occurs when attempting to read data from the Microsoft SQL Database source object.
Environment
- SAP Datasphere
Reproducing the Issue
- Create a data flow;
- Attempt to preview data;
- Observe that only non-boolean columns are visible in the data flow.
Cause
Non supported datatype.
Resolution
Booltype is not supported by SAP Datasphere's engine. Therefore change column's datatype to BIT.
