3531553 - Crossboarding - An error occurred while saving the HRIS data using service layer

• An error is encountered during the crossboarding process for an internal hire.
• The error message indicates an issue with the Pay Scale Level and Pay Scale Group: "An error occurred while saving the HRIS data using service layer: [jobInfo : Pay Scale Level ABC is not defined for Pay Scale Group 123]".

SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding

1. Enable the additional internal hire switch for using position to job info sync rule.
2. Test the behavior as part of the 2H2024 release.
3. Observe the error in the BPE monitor indicating the process is unfinished.
4. Check the process instance id in manage process to view the error.

Actually values from position we propagate only if rules are set. If the value is empty, from recruiting to onboarding, it will populate from previous value, which is retrieved from employee profile. 

1. Ensure that a value for Pay Scale Level is passed from recruiting, which is defined/associated for the Pay Scale Group.
2. Update the job requisition with the value and save it.
3. Navigate to Manage Process Tasks.
4. Filter with the job id which failed.
5. Select the result.
6. Select Restart Task.
