3531562 - Undo Release Of Invoiced Outbound Delivery

• The system allows the execution of Undo Release action on an outbound delivery which has already been invoiced.
• You expect this action be disallowed by the system.

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Navigate to the Outbound Logistics work center.
2. Access the Outbound Deliveries view.
3. Search and select the relevant Outbound delivery which is released and Invoiced.
4. Choose the Undo Release button. 

The system executes this action successfully. 

• The ability to perform Undo Release on an invoiced outbound delivery is a feature of the system, designed for flexibility.
• This feature allows the warehouse to respond to any changes in the quantity of the delivery without having to wait for changes to be made in the Invoice.
• If any changes are made to an Outbound delivery once it's Invoiced, the relevant Invoice Request will have its status changed to In Conflict.
• This update in Invoice Request will alert the invoicing team to make the relevant changes to the Invoice document as per agreement with the business.
• If you need the system to stop Undo Release of the Outbound Delivery after it is invoice you need to scope the question "Do you want to stop undo release of outbound delivery if its already invoiced ?"

You can follow below steps to scope the question to stop Undo Release of outbound delivery after its invoiced. 

1. Go to the Business Configuration work center. 
2. Navigate to the Implementation Projects view. 
3. Select the relevant implementation project and choose the button Edit Project Scope. 
4. Navigate to the fourth chevron named Questions. 
5. Under Manufacturing, Warehousing, and Logistics element expand the Outbound Logistics element. 
6. Select the outbound delivery sub-element. 
7. Under questions for Outbound Delivery mark the question "Do you want to stop undo release of outbound delivery if its already invoiced ? "

Once the review and confirmation of this above change is done you will not be able to perform Undo Release of outbound delivery if its already invoiced.
