3531738 - Sales Order Completed However Appears in Application Error Log

Symptom

  • A completed Sales Order (SO) is still appearing in the application error log.
  • The issue is specifically related to Sales Order which is shows up in the application error log despite being marked as Completed.

Environment

SAP Business ByDesign

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to the Work Center: Outbound Logistics Control
  2. Go to view: Release Due Deliveries Runs.
  3. Find required Run ID and search under details.
  4. Find relevant execution ID and respective Application log ID
  5. Here, Sales Order exists which is completed.

Cause

The application log is designed to capture both error and successful messages.

Each time the system runs, it generates documents and records the outcomes. It is not possible to delete these results from the log, as any errors will be corrected in subsequent executions after resolving the issue.

Resolution

This is the expected behavior of the system.
