Symptom
- Open Client connects require the ASE's Common Name that started the port be the same as the Client side Common Name given in the filter
- However Open Client allows a miss match to be validated when the Common Name value is off by 1 character at the end.
- Example:
- ASE's $SYBASE/interfaces
- master tcp ether asehost aseport ssl="CN=ASEname"
- Open Client's $SYBASE/interfaces
- query tcp ether asehost aseport ssl="CN=ASEnam"
- ASE's $SYBASE/interfaces
