3532124 - Pending Workflows Visibility in Global Benefits Portlet

Symptom

  • Trying to view pending workflows in the Global Benefits Portlet.
  • The end user cannot  see workflow pending link to check whether a workflow has been triggered or not.

Environment

  • SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central 
  • Global Benefits Function

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Navigate to Global benefits of User 
  2. Find Insurance / Allowance / Claims in the Open enrollment section.
  3. Click on Enroll, Select the "Benefit Request Type" as New Enrollment and save the request.
  4. A Warning Message will be displayed, Click on Proceed. 
  5. Workflow approvers list is visible. Click on "Submit".
  6. No workflow link visible to show pending workflow
  7. Go to manage workflow request and confirmed that pending workflow exist for the user

Cause

In the context of benefit enrollment, it is currently not possible to check workflows pending approval in the benefits page.

Resolution

The only benefit object that allows for viewing requests which are still pending are claims, which can be checked in the history.
