3532260 - System Allows Confirmed Quantity Greater than Planned quantity in Production Task.

Symptom

The system allows the Confirmed Quantity of the Production Task to exceed the Planned Quantity without displaying a warning message.

Environment

SAP Business ByDesign

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to Production Control Work center.
  2. Go to Task Control view.
  3. Search the Task ID ABC (ABC represents Task ID).
  4. Choose Confirm.
  5. Enter the Confirmed Quantity greater than the Planned Quantity.
  6. Choose Save.

    The system accepts it without displaying any warning message.

Cause

This process is supported by SAP Business ByDesign and is designed to provide the flexibility to enter the Confirmed Quantity greater than the Planned Quantity.

Resolution

This is a standard system behavior.
