3532352 - Role Name field missing in the 'Add Resource' tab of Customer Projects

Symptom

The Role Name column from the Add Resource tab of app 'Plan Customer Projects' does not display any values/roles.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Open app 'Plan Customer Projects' and search for a project;
  2. Navigate to the Work Packages tab and click on Edit;
  3. Select a Work Package to open its details;
  4. Select Add Team Role > fill the mandatory fields > select Add;
  5. Click on Add Resource and search for an employee. Notice that the Role Name column will be empty.

Cause

The 'Role Name' field from the Add resource tab displays the roles in which the employee is staffed and has the staffing confirmed inside the 'Plan Customer Projects' app.

Resolution

As illustrated in the image below, employee Example ApManagerCO is assigned to the role Senior Consultant, and its staffing is confirmed:

Therefore, the Add Resource tab will display Senior Consultant under the Role Name column:

It is important to mention that multiple roles can be displayed in this field, since a single employee can be staffed to multiple projects/roles.

Also, if the role and/or employee staffing is removed from the Work Package, this role will be removed from the Role Name column of the Add Resource tab.
