3532374 - Cannot select the correct UoM when create a new material

There are two UoMs in the tenant. One is EA (the custom UoM) and the other is ea (the SAP standard UoM). When create a new material, try to select ea but the tenant automatically picks EA.

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to Product and Service Portfolio -> Products.
2. Click New -> Product.
3. Click View All.
4. In filed Base UoM, select ea.
5. The system will pick UoM EA.

For a UoM, UoM Unit and UoM Symbol will be considered as the same. If the symbol of a custom UoM is the same as the Unit of a standard one, the system cannot distinguish these two UoMs. This is how system designed. 

When create an new custom UoM, the symbol of the new UoM should be different from any existed UoM's Unit or Symbol. In the mentioned case of this document, EA can be changed to EA1 or EAZ to avoid the issue.
