Symptom
- Create Linked Analysis between two widgets based on two Live BW models respectively in an optimized story
- Linked analysis could not work as expected since data would not be filtered out in one widget after clicking on the hierarchical dimension member in another widget
Environment
- SAP Analytics Cloud 2024.15.16
Reproducing the Issue
- Log onto SAC
- Create an optimized story based on two live data connection to BW models
- Create linked dimension between these two models
- Add one table and one chart based on these two models respectively
- Create linked analysis between these two widgets
- Make sure the Linked dimension on table has shown as hierarchical format
- Click on the child node of this hierarchical dimension member on this table
=> Observe that values on chart would not be filtered out correctly
Cause
- The issue is caused by a defect in the product.
Resolution
The issue is fixed and planned to be released in version 2024.15.19.
