3532878 - Error NR028 occurs when trying to create a planned order

Symptom

The following error occurs when trying to create a planned order in 'Create Planned Order' app:

  • No transfer of interval   for object PLAF
    Message no. NR028

Environment

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to 'Create Planned Order' app
  2. Fill the mandatory fields
  3. Save
  4. Error occurs: No transfer of interval   for object PLAF / Message no. NR028

Cause

The number range assigned to order type is exhausted, leading to the error.

Resolution

Since the number range is exhausted, the assigned number ranges must be adjusted.

To adjust the number ranges for planned orders, go to activity 'Define Number Range for Planned Order' (ID: 102439).
