3532978 - Unable to Assign Planning Calendar to Material Flagged for Advanced Planning in SAP S/4HANA

Symptom

  • In SAP S/4HANA, when trying to assign a Planning Calendar to a Material that is flagged for Advanced Planning, the system prevents the change from being saved.
  • The error message 'Specify a Planning Calendar' (Msg. no. /SAPAPO/MAT172) is displayed repeatedly, preventing the change from being saved.
  • This issue occurs during the Change Material process (Transaction MM02).
  • The Lot Size Indicator is set to 'K'. The corresponding field is T439A-LOSKZ.
