With the SAP S/4HANA 2023 FPS02 release, the Resource-Related Quotation process in SAP S/4HANA Service has been enhanced to distinguish between automatically generated subitems based on DIP (resource-related cost items) and other subitems.
This allows customers to implement price items in their processes. This KBA explains how to configure the system for this distinction. It applies only to customers upgrading from SAP S/4HANA 2023 FPS01 or earlier to SAP S/4HANA 2023 FPS02 and beyond.
