Symptom

Export to excel option fails when exporting large number of records.

Environment

SAP Cloud for Customer

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Navigate to tickets workcenter (Or any workcenter).
  2. Open all tickets.
  3. Select the "Export to excel" option.
  4. An error is observed or it can constantly load.

Cause

Export to excel currently has a limit of only 10000 per run. If this amount is exceeded, it will fail.

Resolution

It is necessary to always use the "Advanced filter" for an object to reduce the number of records to 10000 or below and then perform the export.
