3533939 - Difference between message processing interval and "Schedule to Recur" interval regarding IFlow with SFTP adapter

Symptom

In Cloud Integration (former CPI), when an Integration Flow (iFlow) using the SFTP (or File) adapter runs, the observed message processing interval may differ from the configured polling or scheduling interval. This includes scenarios where messages are processed in intervals shorter than the configured value (e.g., 2–3 seconds instead of 5 seconds). This behavior occurs even when:

  • "One Worker Node" is enabled, or
  • The tenant does not have multiple runtime nodes.

For example, Iflow1 is an Iflow with SFTP adapter. From the following screenshots, the Iflow message processing interval is 1 second, however the "Schedule to Recur" interval is 5min.
