Symptom

Error message "Employee sync failed due to job info end date inconsistencies. Please resolve the inconsistency issue and try again." returned in object Clock In Clock Out Employee Full Synchronization Details. "Image/data in this KBA is from SAP internal systems, sample data, or demo systems. Any resemblance to real data is purely coincidental."

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Execute Clock In Clock Out Employee Full Synchronization as per Help Document Execute Employee Full Synchronization Details Object. 
  2. Synchronization failed with Error Details "Employee sync failed due to job info end date inconsistencies. Please resolve the inconsistency issue and try again.

Cause

The issue arises due to job info end date inconsistency which prevents the successful execution of the Clock In Clock Out Employee Full Synchronization Details (EMPLOYEE_SYNC_CONFIGURATION).

Resolution

  1. Access Admin Center, navigate to Check Tool, choose Application Employee Central Core and select Area Job Information, then click Go button. 
  2. Select check "All Job Information records have consistent end dates. (JobInfoInconsistentEndDateCheck)", then click Run Checks button. 
  3. Resolve the job info end date inconsistencies found in the Check Tool. 
  4. Perform the Clock In Clock Out Employee Full Synchronization Details again.
