No reports were generated when executing the app "Run Statutory Report" even though the scope item was activated and the statutory report was defined. 

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

1. Open the app Run Statutory Report.
2. Click Execute but no report was generated.

No prior configuration was done at the configuration activity "Setting Up Your Compliance Reporting" (ID: 101071).

Kindly do the prior configuration at the configuration activity "Setting Up Your Compliance Reporting" (ID: 101071).

In statutory reporting, to fulfill the requirements in the countries/regions where your business operates, you can choose to use predefined standard report definitions, report categories, and reporting activities, or you create your own. In the Setting Up Your Statutory Reporting configuration activity, you connect the reporting entities for which you should submit statutory reports. You also connect the report definitions, report categories and reporting activities relevant to the statutory reporting scenario.

The Self-Service Configuration User Interfaces (SSCUI) leads you through the process needed to set up your statutory reporting. We recommend filling in the settings in this sequence:

1. Create Statutory Reporting Entities
2. Assign Organizational Unit to a Reporting Entity
3. Assign Report Categories to a Reporting Entity
4. Set Periodicity of Report Category
5. Set Properties of Reporting Activity
6. Enter Parameters Specific to the Report Category
7. Set Validity of Organizational Unit
8. Enter Parameters Specific to Reporting Entities
