It is not possible to set break lines in placeholders when creating a document through Manage Document Template.

SAP SuccessFactors HCM Suite
Reproducing the Issue
- Create a Document Template with placeholders.
- Create mapping for the placeholders.
- When generating the document, the placeholders that have long values do not break lines, creating misalignments in the document content.
Cause
Product limitation.
Breaking the value of a placeholder into multiple lines cannot be done with Document Generation.
Placeholders are not meant for long texts.
Resolution
