3534591 - Error in App F1643: Invalid combination of operation for key in BATCH request - SAP S/4 HANA

Symptom

When creating a Purchase Requisition (PR) in App F1643 with a decimal place on quantity, following errors are observed:

  1. In FIORI frontend system, a generic error "Sorry, a technical error has occurred. Please try again late.: Internal Server Error" is throwed.
  2. In browser network tab for web request, there is "Runtime Error: 'MESSAGE_TYPE_X'. The OData request processing has been abnormally terminated..." for POST request on C_Sspprmaint_Hdr.
  3. Backend system Error B1 532 "Currency amount passed with more than & digits after decimal point".
  4. Dump in backend system:

    Runtime Errors         MESSAGE_TYPE_X
    ABAP Program           /BOBF/CL_TOOL_ASSERT==========CP
    Application Component  BC-ESI-BOF
