3534765 - How to manually check the response?

Symptom

For most of the cases, after you send the request without seeing any errors, how to manually check the response within this scenario?

Environment

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Resolution

Kindly check the result in Fiori app "Message Dashboard".

  1. Errors in Inbound message
    If the inbound request has technical errors, for example, a mandatory element in XML is missing, you may find error messages in the corresponding inbound messages.
  2.  Errors (or successes) in Confirmation message
    If the inbound request contains no error and gets processed successfully, you would need to check the result in the corresponding confirmation message.
    As following screenshot shows, you may see an error (mostly HTTP Code error) in the confirmation message. This is just a technical error indicating the outbound message doesn’t get processed by the Communication System. To find out the real response from SAP S/4HANA Cloud, you need to check the Data Structure.
