3534970 - Issue with Outbound Delivery Execution in Stock Transfer

Symptom

  • Encountering an error with outbounddeliveryexecutionin WS during the stock transfer process.
  • The error message states: "3PL prefix of external is invalid or cannot be verified."
  • The issue arises when receiving an update from 3PL to create the outbound delivery.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Set up and configure all necessary parameters for outbounddeliveryexecutionin Web Service.
  2. Create a Third-Party Logistics "Stock Transfer".
  3. Create the 3PL Request..
  4. Consume the Payload from the customer to create the 3PL Outbound Delivery.

Cause

  • The incorrect parameters were maintained in the payload.
    • The same ID was maintained for the Sender and Receiver Party.
    • The incorrect TypeCode 1553 (Normal Delivery) instead of 1554 (Intra-Company) was used for the scenario. 

Resolution

  1. Ensure to use the correct TypeCode for the specific scenario.
  2. Check the Communication Arrangement and use the appropriate ID for the Sender and Receiver Party.
  3. Retry the confirmation with the correct parameters.
