Symptom

  • After configuring SSL on SAP Data Services, the AL_RWJobLauncher fails to connect to CMS.

    Internal error: Unable to initialize the session manager.
    JobLauncher failed to initialize session
    Error to connect CMS. Invalid command line syntax(return failure).
    AL_RWJobLauncher failed to connect to CMS.
    AL_RWJobLauncher return code: 180011

  • strace.txt from Linux machine:
    openat(AT_FDCWD, "<DIRECTORY>/ssl/passphrase.txt", O_RDONLY) = -1 EACCES (Permission denied)
