3535154 - AIX: SAP Service Started as Root User on AIX

Symptom

  • An issue was observed where the SAP System could not be started after the last server reboot.
  • The SAP Service process was running as the root user.
  • The issue was temporarily resolved by killing the process and deleting the .sapstream file in /tmp, after which the system started without error.
