Symptom
When you apply a filter in the list of Appointments within the Activity Manager, such as filtering by a specific Account, and then navigate to another object like Tasks, the previously applied filter is reset.
Environment
- SAP Sales Cloud Version 2
- SAP Sales and Service Cloud Version 2
Reproducing the Issue
- Open the navigation menu.
- Select Activity Manager view.
- Select Appointments and apply a filter (e.g., filter by specific Account).
- Switch to Tasks.
- Notice that the filter is not applied to the Tasks list.
Cause
This behavior is expected. Filters applied to one object (e.g., Appointments) do not carry over to another object (e.g., Tasks). Each object maintains its own independent filtering state.
Resolution
The Activity Manager provides a unified view of all activities within a single work center, but filters and lists are completely independent.
Filters applied in one object do not transfer to another. If a user needs to filter by the same account in multiple objects, the filter must be manually reapplied.
