Symptom

Messages from SAP S/4 HANA to SAP PI/PO system are not flowing.

RFC Sender channel is failing with the following error:

Error in processing caused by: com.sap.aii.af.lib.mp.module.ModuleException: call to messaging system failed: com.sap.engine.interfaces.messaging.api.exception.MessagingException: Connection RFC_http://sap.com/xi/XI/System is currently not started.
