Symptom
When validating Amazon Redshift connection in Datasphere, the connection failed with the following error:

Connection "<Redshift_connection_name>" is valid, but not all features are available.
- Data flows can’t be used because of errors in the connection.
Data Flows: Cause: Open request could not be performed due to error: System call <LoadLibrary> to load and initialize functions failed for </usr/sap/flowagent/ds-lite/db_clients/redshift/libamazonredshiftodbc64.so>. Please make sure the shared library is installed and located correctly.

Environment
SAP Datasphere
Cause
- Required Amazon Redshift ODBC driver is NOT uploaded,
OR - Required Amazon Redshift ODBC driver is uploaded, but is NOT synced in Datasphere.
Resolution
Step 1: Upload the required drivers per Upload Third-Party ODBC Drivers (Required for Data Flows) | SAP Help Portal.

Note: If an unsupported format is uploaded (such as the ".msi" format used in Windows systems), the following error will be displayed:
"You cannot upload the driver file XXXX because it is not supported by any connection type. To get directed to a full list of supported driver files, please open the help for uploading drivers via the question mark in the shell bar of the application. "
- Datasphere data flow’s execution engine runs on a Linux system. Please ensure you provide the Linux RPM driver for use with Datasphere.
- Please note that only the version listed above are supported. If needed, please search for version 1.4.65 in document Previous ODBC driver versions - Amazon Redshift. Kindly try to download and upload this one.
Step 2: After uploading the driver, please sync it in SAP Datasphere: System -> Configuration -> Data Integration -> Third-Party Drivers -> Sync.
