3535480 - Column timestamp CURRENT_TIMESTAMP function displays server time, not the local client timezone in SAP Datasphere

Symptom

When using the CURRENT_TIMESTAMP function the system displays the server time (UTC), however it is expected that the time needs to be synced with client time.

Resolution

  • Use a calculated column with the UTCTOLOCAL function. For example, use UTCTOLOCAL(CURRENT_TIMESTAMP , 'Europe/Madrid').
