3535540 - Cancel Request Button is Greyed Out in Production Request

Production Request cannot be canceled since Cancel Request Button is greyed out.

SAP Business ByDesign.

1. Go to Production Control work center.
2. Go to Production Requests view.
3. Find Production Request XYZ (XYZ means Production Request ID)
4. Notice the Cancel Request Button is greyed out.

Cannot cancel Production Request since the Production Order is finished and all subsequent documents are in finished status.

Since the Production Order is finished and the following tasks are finished too, it cannot reverse Production Order and cannot Cancel Production Request. To create a new Production Order with reference to the same Production Request then first finish the task without reporting the quantity.

Then follow the below mentioned steps:

1. Go the Production Requests view.
2. Search for the relevant Production Request. Here you can see that the Create Order button is disabled.
3. Choose Undo Set Complete. After this, the Create Order button will be enabled.
4. Choose Create Order, and then Partial Quantity.
5. Enter the Number of Production Orders you want to create.
6. Then enter Ordered Quantity Per Order. Also if you do not want to create further Production Orders for this Production Request, then select Production Order Creation Completed.
7. Finally choose OK button.
8. System will create a new Production Order with reference to this Production Request.
